Server Problems?
The Nanango Shire Cemetery Database is maintained on an external web server not connected to Council's web server.

If you're unable to access that server at any time, then it may be suffering a temporary connection problem.

In such a case you should try again at a later time.

Look Up Cemetery Record Data Online
Nanango Shire maintains a number of cemeteries, including several historic cemeteries that are no longer used for burials.

Council's cemetery records were computerised in 2007 and you can now search them directly through our web site.

The Nanango Shire Cemetery Database allows you to search for a person by their surname, their first name or by both names. It display all the information held for that person if a record for them is found, including the location of their grave site.

You can access the Nanango Shire Cemetery Database by clicking the link below (the Cemeteries Database will pop up in a new window):

Note: Please be aware that early burial records in the Shire were often incomplete. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of these records by volunteer family history researchers, but if you should find a discrepancy please contact the Nanango Visitor Information Centre on (07) 4171 6871 or email them.
