Looking To The Future
The success of Nanango Shire's Industrial Estate has prompted Council to investigate the possibility of establishing a second industrial estate at Tarong which would be zoned for heavy industry.

The Tarong site would have ready access to energy from the nearby Tarong power stations and easy main roads access.

Perfectly Positioned For Business!
Nanango Shire is very pro-active when it comes to attracting new businesses. And in the late 1990s we created our own medium-industry zoned Industrial Estate at Nanango to encourage more businesses to establish a presence in our Shire.

The Nanango Shire Industrial Estate estate has individual blocks with D'Aguilar Highway exposure, three phase power, town water and bitumen roads. And we're pleased to report that it's been very well received!

Many new industries have come to Nanango Shire to take advantage of the Estate over the last few years. So many that more than two-thirds of the Industrial Estate has now been sold out (though a few blocks remain - see map below).
